Elon Musk is accustomed to ginning up even the most insignificant things and generating excitement for Tesla. As many of the legal challenges Tesla is currently facing relate around the hype that verges on misrepresentation, some would claim that he has done a disservice to his company. Yet occasionally, when Elon remains silent and other sources begin to compile information that suggests a significant announcement, the entire globe stands up and pays attention.
So what’s going on? When the good, hardworking people at Teslascope combined all the most recent leaks with all the inside knowledge they have access to, they came to the conclusion that a significant event is about to occur. Their Twitter posts are possibly the longest you have ever seen, but they are packed with insightful information that puts all the most recent events in a new light.
Teslascope confirms that the Model 3 and Model Y are being redesigned, and the most current examples of these vehicles that we have observed driving about with their front and rear covered are proof of this. The manufacture of Hardware 4 is already in motion, since we have the most definitive confirmation yet. Also, as we recently observed on the Model X and Model S, the vehicles currently leaving the factory have updated cameras.
The FSD Beta V11 will be released shortly after that. There is apparently very little time left before the Investor Day for engineers to push the newest software to the automobiles. Within a day or two, we may anticipate a social media frenzy as a result of all the posts regarding, hopefully, significantly improved FSD.
The Tesla Model 3 and Model Y redesign are covered in more detail. The exterior and interior have undergone some alterations in addition to the improved hardware. For Tesla, which maintains that it does not modify its vehicles, that is rather an uncommon move, albeit the modifications might be modest. The Model 3 and Model Y will both receive new side mirrors and a new tri-band GPS, which eliminates the need for a separate temperature sensor.
The nice people at Teslascope end their lengthy thread on a high note by revealing that Elon Musk is reportedly preparing to make the biggest news in years during Investor Day. Clearly, this generated a lot of conversation. What might it be? That isn’t the Cybertruck production because that is still a ways ahead and we anticipate it, making it less important.
Will the Tesla Model 2 be formally unveiled? Elon Musk is he quitting Tesla? Will Tesla reduce prices even further? Wishful thinking, but it’s quite unlikely that Tesla will offer price reductions in the near future. Is it connected to Tesla’s mining activities? What do you think about the questions that keep coming up? Let us know in the comments, and we’ll find out in a few of days who was correct.
