At the 2023 Auto Expo in New Delhi, Suzuki unveiled its eVX concept, which was accompanied by a brief and uninformative press release on the company’s website. The compact crossover known as the eVX is expected to enter production sometime in 2025.
One of the few legacy automakers without a fully electric vehicle in its lineup, the Japanese automaker has been relatively late to the party. Fans of the brand appear to have to wait a few more years for that, too.
Other than the fact that the eVX has all-wheel drive, is larger than the Vitara, has a battery capacity of close to 60 kWh, and has a range of approximately 550 kilometers, Suzuki does not disclose much in the way of technical specifications. However, India’s MIDC, whose estimates tend to be more optimistic, has calculated that.

The CVX’s sharp and aggressive design suggests that it is ready for off-roading. However, there is still a long way to go before Suzuki begins manufacturing a car based on the eVX, so some things might change.
Suzuki also mentioned that it is working on a project with Canadian company Inmotive to make it possible for electric vehicles to have two speeds. In the end, this would increase range and efficiency, and it will be used in future Suzuki vehicles.
