For the Ola S1 and S1 Pro electric scooters that are sold in India, Ola Electric has introduced a brand-new Gerua Edition. Along with the Ola S1 variant, the new EVs will be available in five additional colors: Matt Black, Millennial Pink, Midnight Blue, and Anthracite Grey.
It should be noted that the electric scooter’s mechanics remain unchanged for both the new edition and the paint scheme.
The Ola S1 Pro electric scooter maintains its ARAI-certified range of 181 kilometers on a single charge and its capability of reaching speeds of up to 116 kilometers per hour. Also, the scooter says it can go from 0 to 60 mph in 2.9 seconds.
The Ola S1 has a top speed of 95 kilometers per hour, and the ability to go from 0 to 40 kilometers per hour in 3.8 seconds. They strengthened with the S1 and S1 Pro Ola’s market leadership in the premium scooter sector. Both of which went on sale in September of last year.
Earlier in the year, the business had a successful end to the year, selling 25,000 units in December. With over 1,50,000 units sold, Ola became India’s best-selling electric vehicle manufacturer in 2022.
The company also expanded its direct-to-consumer (D2C) footprint with more than 100 new experience centers. Three software updates in one year, including the over-the-air (OTA) rollout of MoveOS 3 to over 1 lac customers.
Lastly, Ola’s rise to the top of the chart has been achieved with EVs desirable for customers,” stated Anshul Khandelwal, CMO of Ola Electric. They are bringing back the Gerua edition to both of our variants based on community feedback, and we are also making Ola S1 available in all 11 color palettes, making our scooters even more exciting.
