The new Ioniq 5 will go on sale on January 11 at the 2023 Auto Expo, according to Hyundai. The all-electric SUV was shown off last year, and its prices will be revealed at the Expo. According to Union Kim, MD & CEO of Hyundai Motors India, “We are proud to be exhibiting advanced robotics solutions alongside revolutionary new technologies and products such as Hyundai Ioniq 5, Ioniq 6, and Nexo.”
The Ioniq 5 is constructed using the same E-GMP (Electric Global Modular Platform) as the Kia EV6. It is driven by a permanent magnet synchronous motor and a 72.6 kWh high-density lithium-ion battery, which together produce 350 Nm of peak torque and 214 horsepower. According to ARAI certification, the Ioniq 5 has a range of 631 kilometers and smart regeneration technology.

In addition, Hyundai will present its Metaverse, Digital Car Life, its online one-stop platform, and Future Mobility Scale, which will highlight technological advancements related to Hyundai’s “Progress for Humanity.” Hyundai will present the Purpose Build Vehicle (PBV) and Urban Air Mobility (UAM) as part of these exhibits.
Lastly, Hyundai will also show off its cutting-edge AI and robotics, which are in addition to these products. One of these will be shown off: SPOT from Boston Dynamics. Hyundai will also present ATLAS, H-MEX, and MobED alongside SPOT.
