The Hyundai Ioniq is a compact five-door liftback manufactured and marketed by Hyundai. The name Ioniq depicts a portmanteau of ion and unique respectively. Notably, it is marketed as the first automobile to be given without a standard internal combustion engine. While rather sold in hybrid, plug-in hybrid, and all-electric variants.
Booking date, Pricing and Colour options
On November 9 Hyundai will open booking for the Ioniq 6 in the UK. Therefore, those who want to have one of the most awaited electric cars. It will be required to book it at a fast pace. The First Edition Ioniq 6
The First Edition Ioniq 6 will arrive with a 77.4 kWh 800V battery covered with back support for up to 350 kW DC fast charging. The dual-motor AWD system is rated at 325 HP (239 kW) and 605 Nm of torque. It will quite sufficient for a 5.1-second sprint from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) and a claimed 320 miles (515 km) of range.
First Edition will arrive through the Ionity Premium subscription which gives benefits and discounted rates for DC charging. As per the company, the price can move as low as GBP 0.25 or €0.27 per kWh. Although the subscription is totally free of cost as of now. While the Ionity Premium starts at €13 per month.
Ioniq 6 perform outstanding
The range is around 420 km (260 miles) whereas charging the Ioniq 6 will perform at just €21 approx €5 per 100 km utilizing the Ioniq DC chargers. Therefore, at 25,000 km (15,553 miles) per year, the cost comes to around €1,400 (GBP 1,210). Considering this cost it will be less than a 250cc scooter.
For the UK market, Hyundai does not reveal how many First Edition vehicles are being allotted but the total number for Europe is 2,500 units.
