BMW Group is rolling out its third Over-the-Air (OTA) software upgrade for this year, giving multiple of updates on the driver support system and music as well as voice balance. The remote software update is being rolled out to around two million BMW vehicles worldwide.

Currently, BMW’s OTA updates extend to infotainment systems to enhance features already onboard and to purchase and install “optional equipment features.” Furthermore, updates to the Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) can be updated OTA in a limited capacity.

In an official press launch, BMW declared that it has continued seeding the recent software upgrades to BMW’s Operating System 8. Version 7 of the OS will receive the new functionalities quite soon. Recently there are 3.8 million vehicles performing on Operating System 8.
Changelog:
The changelog marked and outlined ten prime alterations. One of them will be enhancing the charging direction feature on the BMW iX and i4 models constructed before July 2022. The BMW Intelligent Personal Assistant also received an upgrade and is now more capable and has superior visual effects and impressions. Software:
